Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Trajan facing right, rendered in the three-quarter rear perspective characteristic of Alexandrian coinage, with the aegis or paludamentum visible at the shoulder. The portrait displays finely detailed hair beneath the laurel wreath and a strong imperial profile. The obverse legend runs around the periphery in Greek characters, identifying the emperor by his titles. The style reflects the distinctive Alexandrian workshop tradition, combining Roman imperial iconography with local artistic conventions.
