Reverse description Central type depicting a tall kalathos (ritual grain basket) surmounted by radiating plumes, set atop a slender column rising from a base. Flanking the column symmetrically are two large winged serpents (agathodaimones), their bodies coiling outward and downward to either side of the plinth, heads raised toward the kalathos. The date regnal legend appears in the lower field. The composition is characteristically Alexandrian, evoking the syncretic cult symbolism of the city's mint.
