Alexandrian bronze dated to regnal year 13 of Trajan (109/110 AD), issued from the mint that served as the administrative and monetary hub of Roman Egypt. The province operated under a closed currency system — Roman silver and gold did not circulate freely there, forcing all local exchange through Egypt-specific issues.
