| Reverse description | A tetrastyle temple facade depicted in careful architectural detail, featuring four columns supporting an entablature above which rises a central arch. Within the intercolumniation, Zeus is shown seated to the left, holding a patera in his outstretched right hand and a long sceptre in his left. The deity is rendered in the classical Olympian tradition common to civic coinage of Asia Minor. The reverse legend, distributed around the field, records the name of the local magistrate Apollonides and identifies the issuing community as the Dioshierites. |
