The imperial effigy occupies the majority of the flan, with the Greek legend disposed around the periphery. The portrait presents the characteristic bearded physiognomy of Severus, consistent with provincial bronze coinage of Caria from the Severan period. |

The legend of the city of Attuda and the Asiarch magistrate appears in the exergue and surrounding field. |
