The emperor's effigy displays the characteristic military accoutrements befitting his imperial dignity, with the laurel wreath symbolising his divine favour and victory. A partially preserved Greek legend arcs around the bust within the coin's field. |

The ethnic legend ΙΑϹΕΩΝ arcs around the reverse field, identifying the issuing city of Iasus.
