To the left, a cult statue of Hecate of Pergamum is depicted standing, facing, wearing a kalathos on her head and holding a fluted staff surmounted by a bird. To the right, the turreted Tyche of Mytilene stands facing left, holding a patera in one hand and a Dionysiac herm in the other. The reverse legend, arranged in the field, records the name of the local strategos and identifies the issuing communities of Mytilene and Pergamum within the koinon. |
