| Obverse description | Laureate head of Emperor Macrinus facing right, rendered in the provincial style typical of Bithynian civic coinage. The portrait displays the characteristic bearded effigy of Macrinus with a laurel wreath crown. The encircling Greek legend names the emperor with his full imperial titulature. The field shows the slightly irregular flan characteristic of provincial bronze issues of this period. |

| Reverse description | Heracles standing right, nude and powerful, brandishing his club overhead with his right hand while grasping by the hair Hippolyte, Queen of the Amazons, who stands to the left in a posture of submission. The girdle (belt) of Hippolyte, the object of Heracles' ninth labour, lies at her feet. The composition references the mythological cycle of the Labours of Heracles, a popular subject in Bithynian civic coinage. The reverse legend in Greek names the issuing city and carries the numeral Ι (10) as a series or denomination marker. |
