| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Macrinus facing right, rendered in three-quarter rear view, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder and detailed muscular cuirass articulation across the chest. The portrait displays Macrinus's characteristic short beard and curly hair beneath the laurel wreath, rendered in the provincial workshop style typical of Carian civic coinage. A circular Greek legend surrounds the imperial effigy along the periphery of the flan. |
