| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, with drapery visible on the left shoulder. The portrait is rendered in the characteristic Alexandrian style, with finely detailed laurel wreath and curled hair. The surrounding legend in Greek characters reads partially around the periphery of the flan. The flan is irregular and shows typical characteristics of Alexandrian provincial bronze coinage of the second century AD. |
