Sarapis is depicted radiate and wearing his distinctive kalathos (modius) atop his head, along with a laurel wreath. Isis appears behind him, crowned with a taenia, solar disc, and cow horns. The date legend L Ζ (regnal year 7) appears in the field, corresponding to the Alexandrian year 122–123 CE. The composition reflects the important religious syncretism of the Alexandrian mint's iconographic programme. |
