| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of the emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from the rear, a style characteristic of Alexandrian provincial coinage. The imperial effigy displays the characteristic beard and laureate wreath associated with Hadrian's portraiture. The surrounding field carries the Greek imperial titulature distributed in two registers. The flan is broad and irregular, typical of the heavy Alexandrian diobol series of the later Hadrianic period. |

| Obverse lettering | ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙϹ ΤΡΑΙΑΝ - ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ (Translation: Emperor Caesar Trajan Hadrian Augustus) |
| Reverse description | A tall kalathos (basket) set atop a column, adorned with ears of corn and poppies, flanked on either side by a rearing serpent whose coiled body frames the central device symmetrically. The composition is a well-known Alexandrian religious motif associated with Serapis and the fertility of Egypt. The regnal date legend appears in the field, referencing the twenty-first year of Hadrian's reign. The reverse type is rendered with crisp relief typical of the Alexandrian mint's output during this period. |
