| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from behind, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder and segmented cuirass details discernible at the truncation. The portrait displays Hadrian's characteristic short curled hair beneath the laurel wreath and a neatly trimmed beard, rendered in the refined Alexandrian style. A Greek imperial legend surrounds the effigy, divided across the field, reading ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙϹ ΤΡΑΙΑΝ ΑΔΡΙΑΝΟϹ ϹΕΒ. The flan shows the typical broad, irregular fabric of Alexandrian bronze coinage, with a green patina overall. |

| Reverse description | Sarapis, wearing the modius on his head and a long chiton, stands facing in a quadriga of horses advancing toward the viewer, his head turned to the left. He raises his right arm in a gesture of salutation or benediction while holding a long sceptre in his left hand. The composition conveys the god's majestic, frontal presence in the Roman-Egyptian religious tradition of Alexandrian coinage. The regnal date appears in the left field. |
