| Obverse description | Bare-headed effigy of Emperor Hadrian facing left, with slight drapery visible on the left shoulder. The portrait is rendered in the characteristic Alexandrian style, with curled hair framing the face and a naturalistic physiognomy. The encircling legend, in Greek script, names the emperor with his full imperial titulature. The flan shows some irregularity typical of provincially struck bronze coinage of the period. |
