Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, portrayed with his characteristic short beard, the bust seen from the rear in the Alexandrian convention. The imperial effigy displays detailed rendering of the paludamentum and lorica. The Greek legend runs along the outer border, divided on either side of the bust.
