| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered in three-quarter view from the rear, with the paludamentum visible over the left shoulder and segmented cuirass detailed at the truncation. The emperor is depicted with his characteristic short beard and curly hair beneath the laurel wreath. The encircling Greek legend runs along the outer rim, divided across both sides of the bust. The portraiture reflects the refined Alexandrian workshop style, combining Roman imperial iconography with local Hellenistic engraving traditions. |
