Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, with drapery visible over the left shoulder. The portrait is rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style, with carefully delineated curly hair beneath the laurel wreath and a short beard characteristic of Hadrianic portraiture. The Greek legend is disposed in two parts around the bust, reading from upper left to lower right across the field.
