Obverse description Laureate bust of the Emperor Hadrian facing right, the precise bust type uncertain due to heavy encrustation and surface corrosion obscuring fine detail. The imperial effigy is rendered in the typical Alexandrian provincial style, with the laureate wreath discernible at the crown of the head. The surrounding legend is largely illegible on this specimen, with only fragmentary traces surviving in the field.
