She holds a ship's rudder in her right hand, symbolising guidance of the city's destiny, and a cornucopia in her left arm, representing abundance. The figure is rendered in the provincial Greek artistic tradition typical of Pisidian civic bronzes of the third century AD. A Greek circular legend occupies the field surrounding the figure, identifying the issuing city and the presiding magistrate. |
