| Reverse description | A hexastyle temple with an arcuated (arched) lintel set upon a podium of two steps, depicted in careful architectural detail. Within the intercolumniation stands a cult statue of Artemis the Huntress, advancing to the right, holding a bow in her left hand while drawing an arrow from a quiver with her right hand. The reverse legend, arranged around the temple, names the presiding archon Domesticus and identifies the issuing city of the Tabeans. The architectural rendering reflects the pride of the Carian city in its principal sanctuary. |
