| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Caracalla facing right, viewed from the rear, with paludamentum visible over the left shoulder. The emperor is portrayed with characteristic short beard and stern physiognomy typical of his later coinage. A Greek imperial legend encircles the bust, naming the emperor in his full titulature. The flan is broad and slightly irregular, consistent with provincial Anatolian workshop production of the Severan period. |

| Reverse description | A tetrastyle temple depicted in elevation, its four columns framing a cult statue of Artemis of Ephesus standing facing, wearing a kalathos (cylindrical headdress) and the characteristic multi-tiered necklace and supports at her sides, flanked by two stags. The architectural rendering conveys the celebrated sanctuary's grandeur, with the columns shown in perspective and the cult image centrally placed within the intercolumniation. The civic ethnic legend of the Tiberiopolitans is distributed around the reverse field. |
