| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Caracalla facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Bithynian coinage. The portrait shows the emperor in martial presentation, with the laurel wreath, paludamentum, and cuirass visible. The Greek legend ΑΝΤΩΝΙΝΟϹ ΑΥΓΟΥϹΤΟϹ encircles the bust. A small test hole (banker's mark) is noted near the center of the flan, indicating ancient verification of metal quality. |
