| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of the emperor Caracalla facing right, seen from the front, rendered in the provincial Greek style typical of the Smyrnaean mint. The portrait displays the characteristic military paludamentum and segmented cuirass, with the laureate wreath clearly visible crowning the head. The circular Greek legend surrounds the imperial effigy. The flan shows signs of irregular striking consistent with provincial hammered coinage of the Severan period. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | Homonoia type depicting Asclepius standing to the right, holding his serpent-entwined staff (caduceus), facing Cybele, the Mother of the Gods, who is seated to the left upon a throne, holding a patera in her outstretched hand and resting against a tympanum. This pairing of the tutelary deities of Pergamon and Smyrna respectively symbolises the civic concord (homonoia) between the two cities. The Greek legend is distributed in the field and exergue, recording the names of both cities and the presiding strategos. |
