| Beschrijving voorzijde | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Caracalla facing right, depicted from the rear in the characteristic three-quarter view favoured in provincial coinage of Asia Minor. The emperor's paludamentum is visible over the left shoulder, and the cuirass is rendered with fine detail. The encircling Greek legend runs along the outer border of the flan, partially legible on the irregular flan edge. The portrait displays the strong, youthful features associated with Caracalla's early reign iconography as used in the eastern provincial mints. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | A complex architectural composition depicting the sacred precinct of Cyzicus. To the left stands a prostyle temple with nine columns, likely the great temple of Hadrian at Cyzicus. To the right is a building with a closed gate surmounted by three standing statues of Demeter, each carrying a torch. In the centre, a structure is flanked by two large torches entwined by serpents, alluding to the city's mystery cult traditions. The reverse legend surrounding the scene references the city's twice-awarded neocorate status, a mark of great civic honour. The overall composition is a rare and elaborate numismatic representation of Cyzicus's religious and civic architecture. |
