Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, the emperor depicted with a short beard in the mature Antonine style. The effigy is rendered in high relief typical of Alexandrian provincial coinage. A circular Greek legend surrounds the portrait, running along the rim of the flan. The flan is irregular and somewhat broad, characteristic of Egyptian provincial bronzes of this period.

Reverse description Homonoia (Concordia) standing facing, head turned to left, dressed in long chiton and himation. In her right hand she holds a patera extended over a small lighted altar at her feet, and in her left hand she carries a double cornucopia. The reverse type personifies civic Concord, a popular motif on Alexandrian coinage. The Greek legend and regnal year appear in the field, flanking or surrounding the figure.
