Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, with the paludamentum visible over the shoulder, presented in three-quarter view. The imperial effigy is rendered in the characteristic Alexandrian provincial style, with bold relief typical of Egyptian bronze coinage. The encircling Greek legend occupies the outer field, identifying the emperor by his full titulature.
