| Obverse description | Laureate head of Antoninus Pius facing right, with traces of drapery visible at the shoulder truncation, rendered in the characteristic Alexandrian provincial style. The emperor's effigy displays a wreath of laurel leaves crowning his head, with finely modelled facial features including a short beard. The encircling Greek legend runs along the periphery of the flan, partially visible despite the coin's worn surfaces. The flan exhibits the typical irregular shape associated with Alexandrian bronze coinage of this period. |
