Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered three-quarter from the rear, with the paludamentum fastened at the right shoulder. The imperial effigy is portrayed in the characteristic Antonine style with finely rendered facial hair. The encircling Greek legend identifies the emperor by his full titulature.
