| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style with characteristic broad, slightly rough workmanship. The imperial effigy displays a bearded portrait with the laureate wreath clearly indicated around the head. The obverse legend runs around the periphery in Greek characters, naming the emperor with his full titulature. The portrait occupies the central field with bold, high relief typical of Alexandrian bronze coinage of the period. |

| Reverse description | Zodiac type featuring the Moon in Cancer. A draped bust of Selene, the lunar goddess, faces right above a crescent moon symbol, with a crab (the Cancerian symbol) depicted below. A star appears before the bust in the field, completing the astral iconographic program. This reverse belongs to the celebrated Alexandrian zodiac series issued under Antoninus Pius, in which each sign of the zodiac is paired with its ruling celestial body. The date regnal year formula appears in the field. |
