Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style with characteristic broad, slightly rough workmanship. The imperial effigy displays a bearded portrait with the laureate wreath clearly indicated around the head. The obverse legend runs around the periphery in Greek characters, naming the emperor with his full titulature. The portrait occupies the central field with bold, high relief typical of Alexandrian bronze coinage of the period.
