Obverse description Laureate, draped bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial style characteristic of Alexandrian coinage. The emperor's portrait displays a wreath of laurel leaves crowning the head, with short curled hair and beard rendered in low relief. The surrounding legend, partially preserved, runs along the periphery of the flan. The flan is broad and irregular, consistent with hammered Alexandrian bronze production of the mid-second century AD.
