Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the Alexandrian provincial style with bold, high-relief portraiture. The emperor's characteristic beard and mature features are visible, with the laurel wreath encircling the head. A Greek Imperial legend surrounds the bust, running along the periphery of the flan. The coin is struck on an irregular, broad flan typical of Alexandrian provincial bronze coinage of the mid-second century AD.
