| Obverse description | Laureate, draped bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style with a broad, fleshy physiognomy and short beard. The laureate wreath is prominently detailed with individual leaves. The Greek imperial legend encircles the effigy, partially visible along the upper and right field. The coin exhibits the characteristic irregular flan and slightly off-centre strike typical of Alexandrian bronze issues of this period. |
