Obverse description Bare laureate head of Emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style with bold, slightly crude relief typical of Egyptian bronze coinage. The emperor's facial features, including a short beard and defined brow, are discernible despite heavy surface wear and encrustation. The surrounding Greek legend is distributed across the field. The flan is irregular and shows characteristic casting and hammering marks consistent with Alexandrian mint production of the mid-second century AD.
