| Reverse description | Isis Pharia represented standing to the right, her billowing sail held aloft in her outstretched hand with a serpent depicted upon it, and a sistrum held in her other hand. Before her stands the Pharos of Alexandria, the celebrated lighthouse rendered in schematic form. The composition is a distinctively Alexandrian reverse type celebrating the city's maritime identity and the syncretism of Isis with the protection of seafarers. The regnal date legend appears in the field. |
