| Obverse description | Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Antoninus Pius facing right, portrayed with characteristic beard and strong facial features in the Antonine style. The imperial effigy is rendered in high relief against a flat field. The encircling Greek legend runs along the periphery, beginning at the upper right and continuing around the bust. The coin's irregular flan is typical of Alexandrian provincial bronze coinage of the period. |

| Reverse description | Heracles advancing to the right, head turned back to the left, performing his twelfth labor — the capture of Cerberus. The hero is shown striding forward with his right hand grasping a club and his left arm draped with the Nemean lion skin, forcibly dragging the three-headed hound Cerberus away from the entrance to the underworld. The composition conveys vigorous movement and heroic strength characteristic of Alexandrian mythological reverses. The regnal date legend appears in the field. |
