| Obverse description | Laureate head of the emperor Antoninus Pius facing right, rendered in the provincial Alexandrian style with finely detailed laurel wreath and characteristic portraiture of the Antonine period. The imperial legend encircles the effigy along the periphery of the flan, reading partially in the field. The coin displays a dark olive-brown patina with areas of green encrustation consistent with extended burial, and the flan is irregular in shape as typical of Alexandrian bronze issues of this period. |

| Reverse description | Heracles standing to the left, depicted as the triumphant hero of the Tenth Labour, grasping two of the oxen of Geryon with his right hand while holding his club in the left; the Nemean lion skin is draped over his forearm. At his feet lies the fallen body of the triple-formed giant Geryon, slain in the course of the labour. The composition is a rare and iconographically rich type specific to Alexandrian coinage of the reign of Antoninus Pius, celebrating the mythological labours of Heracles. The regnal date legend L ΔΕΚΑΤΟΥ appears in the field. |
