| Reverse description | Jugate draped busts of Sarapis and Isis facing right, presented in the characteristic Alexandrian religious iconography. Sarapis is depicted wearing his distinctive modius (kalathos) headdress, with a long curled beard and flowing hair, while Isis appears behind him wearing her characteristic crown. The figures are rendered with considerable detail in high relief, reflecting the syncretic religious traditions of Roman Egypt. The regnal year date appears in the right field of the reverse. |
