Obverse description Horned bust of Zeus Ammon facing right, depicted with characteristic ram's horns curving around the ears, with curling hair and beard rendered in the Hellenistic tradition. The effigy is set within a dotted border, occupying the central field of the flan. The Greek legend ΘΕΟϹ ΑΜΜΩΝ is disposed around the bust, identifying the deity as the god Ammon. The style reflects the provincial Greek coinage of Asia Minor under the joint reign of Valerian and Gallienus.

Reverse description Elaborate allegorical composition arranged across the reverse field, featuring Asclepius standing at left, facing right, his right hand resting upon his serpent-entwined staff (caduceus). He faces Tyche of Mytilene, who is seated to the left, holding a patera in her extended hand and a herm of Dionysus. To the right stands the iconic cult statue of Artemis of Ephesus (Artemis Ephesia), rendered in the characteristic frontal, multi-breasted form. The entire scene is flanked by two figures of Nemesis, the one to the right depicted with a wheel at her feet, symbolizing retribution and fate. The Greek legend ΟΜΟΝΟΙΑ ΜΥΤΙΛΗΝΑΙΩΝ frames the composition, proclaiming the concord of the Mytileneans.
