| 背面描述 | Dionysus, depicted semi-draped, rides in a biga drawn by two panthers advancing to the left, holding a thyrsus in his right hand. The god is shown in a dynamic pose atop the chariot, consistent with Alexandrian Dionysiac imagery frequently employed on provincial bronzes of the Roman imperial period. The regnal year legend L ΙΘ (year 19 of Trajan's reign, corresponding to 115–116 CE) appears in the upper left field. The panther biga is rendered with considerable detail despite the broad flan and irregular strike typical of Alexandrian Æ coinage. The wheel of the chariot is visible to the right. |

Year 19 of Trajan's reign corresponds to the period immediately following his Parthian campaign, when Egypt's administrative machinery was grinding out bronze at volume to service a province swollen with military logistics and supply traffic. The Alexandrian mint dated its bronzes by regnal year rather than Roman consular convention — a Ptolemaic habit that survived four centuries of Roman rule without interruption.
