Reverse description Classical temple facade depicted with two columns framing a cult statue of Athena standing facing, head turned to the left, holding a spear in her right hand and a shield at her side. The architectural rendering is typical of Alexandrian civic coinage, presenting the temple in elevation with the deity enshrined within. The regnal date L ΙΓ (Year 13) appears in the field, corresponding to the 13th year of Trajan's reign in the Alexandrian calendar (109–110 AD). The reverse surface is heavily worn, obscuring finer architectural and figural details.
