| Reverse description | Tyche, the personification of fortune and civic prosperity, seated left upon a throne or chair, her body draped in flowing robes rendered in the Hellenistic tradition of provincial coinage. In her extended right hand she holds a wreath, while her left arm supports a cornucopia, symbols respectively of honor and abundance. The Greek civic legend of Amisus, including the city's epithet of freedom (ΕΛΕΥΘΕΡΑϹ) and the local era date ΡΜΕ (year 145, corresponding to 113–114 AD), is arranged around the periphery within a beaded border. |
