The legend ΔΗΜΟϹ ΦΛΑΒΙΟΠΟΛΕΙΤΩΝ runs around the periphery of the flan, partially within a beaded border. The portrait exhibits the idealized civic personification of the people of Flaviopolis, with gently curling hair and a simple diadem. A small hole, likely pierced in antiquity for use as a pendant or suspension piece, is visible near the upper right rim. |
