| Descrizione del dritto | Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Geta as Caesar facing right, depicted in youthful profile with tightly curled hair rendered in fine detail. The paludamentum is visible at the shoulder, and the cuirass shows articulated pteruges at the upper arm. The peripheral Greek legend encircles the effigy, reading Λ ϹΕΠΤΙΜΙ ΓΕΤΑϹ ΚΑΙϹ, identifying the subject as Lucius Septimius Geta Caesar. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with provincial hammered bronze coinage of the Severan period. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Two togati depicted in a concordia handshake scene: Caracalla, laureate and togate, stands to the right, extending his right hand, while Geta, bare-headed and togate, stands to the left, clasping hands with his brother in a dextrarum iunctio. The composition emphasises dynastic harmony between the two imperial heirs. The encircling Greek legend in the field and border reads ΝΙΚΟΜΗΔΕΩΝ ΔΙϹ ΝΕΩΚΟΡΩΝ, proclaiming the civic pride of Nicomedia as twice holder of the neocorate honour. The reverse execution is typical of Bithynian provincial bronze coinage under the Severan dynasty. |
