| Obverse description | Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Caracalla facing right, viewed from the rear, with elaborate paludamentum folds visible at the shoulder. The radiate crown is rendered with pronounced points, characteristic of the Severan provincial bronze coinage of Phrygia. A circular legend in Greek surrounds the imperial effigy within a raised border. The portraiture is modelled in high relief, displaying the youthful features of Caracalla as co-emperor during the reign of Septimius Severus. |
