Obverse description Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Septimius Severus facing right, depicted from the rear in the so-called 'heroic' three-quarter perspective. The emperor's military attire is rendered in careful detail, and the laureate wreath crowns his head. The encircling obverse legend identifies the emperor by his full titulature in Greek script.

Reverse description The emperor, robed and holding a long sceptre in his right hand, is seated majestically in a quadriga advancing to the left. The four horses are rendered in dynamic motion, with musculature and harness visible. The reverse legend, disposed around the field, names the local civic magistrate and the issuing city. The composition reflects the triumphal iconography common to provincial bronze coinage of the Severan period.
