Obverse description Draped and diademed bust of Otacilia Severa facing right, the hair arranged in waves and drawn back, with a stephane visible above. The effigy is rendered in the typical provincial style of the mid-third century AD. The circular Greek legend surrounds the portrait within the fields. The flan shows characteristic irregular edges common to provincial bronze issues of this period.

Reverse description The river god Maeandros depicted in recumbent pose facing left, his semi-nude figure reclining upon the ground with his weight supported on his left arm. He holds a reed in his right hand and a cornucopia in his left, with a water urn beside him from which a stream flows, and a fish visible nearby — standard iconographic attributes associating the deity with the celebrated Maeander River of Lydia. The ethnic legend of Tripolis encircles the scene and names the deity below.
