| Obverse description | Laureate, cuirassed and paludamentum-draped bust of Emperor Marcus Aurelius, facing right and viewed from the rear, presenting the characteristic three-quarter back view typical of Alexandrian provincial coinage. The emperor's effigy displays finely rendered military dress, with the paludamentum fastened at the shoulder. The obverse legend, partially preserved, runs around the periphery of the flan in Greek characters. |
