(Translation: Lucius Aurelius Verus Augustus)
Reverse description Zeus enthroned left on a high-backed throne, his right hand extended holding Nike or a patera, and his left hand grasping a long vertical sceptre. An eagle stands at his feet to the left, a standard iconographic attribute of Zeus in Alexandrian provincial coinage. The regnal year date appears in the field in Greek numerals. The composition closely follows the established Alexandrian type for Zeus Olympios during the joint reign of Marcus Aurelius and Lucius Verus.
