Reverse description Sarapis, wearing a kalathos (modius) on his head, stands erect in a quadriga advancing to the left, raising his right hand in a gesture of benediction and holding a long sceptre in his left. The four horses of the quadriga are depicted in motion, a composition reflecting the god's solar and regal associations in Alexandrian religious iconography. The regnal year date L Ϛ (year 6) appears in the upper left field. The reverse is heavily worn with significant surface corrosion, rendering some details of the quadriga difficult to distinguish.
